“Khoroshkola” has strengthened safety with VisionLabs technology

The innovative school of 21st century competencies and personalised education Khoroshevskaya School (“Khoroshkola”) has implemented the VisionLabs badging system (part of the Sber ecosystem), which will help to strengthen access control and provide contactless entry for both students and teachers. The solution is integrated with VisionLabs Thermo attendance and temperature control systems.
VisionLabs LUNA Ace facial recognition terminals installed at the entrance to the school grounds prevent the use of alien badges and access by unauthorised persons. Meanwhile, neural network algorithms can successfully deal with external factors such as the presence of glasses, medical masks and headgear, while Liveness technologies prevent the use of a printed photo or video from a screen.

The use of PC vision eliminates the human factor and helps not only to provide access control, but also to detect suspicious behaviour and potentially dangerous situations such as lying down, shooting position, raised hands; the system also recognizes emotions,"

The LUNA Ace terminal increases the capacity of the through passage. Students and teachers will no longer need to look for a pass and then place it on the reader. The time it takes to create a new pass is also reduced - instead of the time-consuming processing of a traditional card, you simply take a photo and add the image to the database.
In addition, the VisionLabs Thermo non-contact thermometry system is integrated with the access control system, which can detect the temperature of up to 40 people at a time with an accuracy of no more than 0.2 °C. When a person with an elevated temperature is detected, the system automatically sends an alert to the guard post. The VisionLabs Thermo solution can be presented either as part of a standard thermal imaging system or as a metal detector with an integrated thermal imaging camera.

The integration and adaptation work was carried out by Special Control Technologies. The priority was to have a comprehensive approach to the project, meeting all the customer's needs, including further technical support.
